For more than seven years, I worked as a journalist. Writing comes more naturally to me than painting, but it feels like work. I've been lucky in my wide-ranging career to have built a few websites for other people and filled its pages with content. So, I knew how to do the work when it came to building a website for me.
What I didn't expect was how much fun it was going to be! The technical side of things is a great challenge that works my brain in ways it hasn't been tested in nearly three years. I enjoy that side of it. I really love writing about my work and sharing my story with you.
This website is a love letter to the art of healing and the healing power of art. I've found so much peace and purpose in the act of painting. My great joy is that I actually like the results, most of the time.
