Do you have a place you love that you'd like to visit more often? Why not commission a painting by resident artist, Sarah Anderson, so you can feel like you're there without ever leaving your home.
Sarah loves painting the places that are meaningful to you. That's how she got started. She believes in the power of place to hold memories, healing, and hope for the future.
Get in touch via email, Instagram, or Facebook, and work together with Sarah to pick out the size, colours, theme, and overall feeling of the painting you envision. Sarah prefers to work from photos you, or someone you know personally, have taken.
A few quick guidelines:
- Landscapes and buildings only. Please select an image that features nature mostly. Some man-made elements are fine but no humans or animals, please.
- A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to cover the cost of materials and to secure your place in Sarah’s workload.
- Sarah will check in at every step in the process: canvas size, depth, shape and make; drawing; colours; background layers; detail; final touches. If you're not happy, we'll work together to fix it.
- This is your painting and you should love it. Sarah will work with you to make sure that is the case.
Pricing is based on size and hours of work, starting at $12 per inch on the longest side of the canvas. Additional costs may vary.
